Announcing promising new partnership to develop agribusinesses in Tanzania

We are proud to announce that TAPBDS is the newest member of our Local Expert Network (LEN). This partnership represents our first Local Expert in Tanzania. It will increase the availability of our data-led tools to local agri-SMEs and help them grow more professionally. Combining TAPBDS’s innovative business development solutions with our standardized assessments will help Tanzanian agri-SMEs to access markets and finance.

The Local Expert Network: Global Standard, Local Expertise

The LEN is a partnership program that both creates value for market players and capacity builders in target countries and also creates value for local businesses. Through the LEN, we attract organizations that share our vision of professionalizing agribusinesses and will serve as reliable SCOPE tool implementers. These experts provide the much-needed local infrastructure with the capacity to offer ongoing business development support to agribusinesses, working well beyond donor-funded initiatives. Through partnering with these like-minded businesses, we ensure that international capacity builders can efficiently implement their projects while strengthening the local economy.

Future work together with AGRA

Both SCOPEinsight and TAPBDS have a history of working with the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), and we hope to continue this work together with AGRA’s upcoming project to scale up SMEs. Together, we can make a positive impact on Tanzanian SMEs. We also intend to use our Bankability Metrics in this project to create access to finance.
