On 1st October 2025, twenty (20) young agripreneurs supported by TAPBDS under the Youth Entrepreneurship for Future Food and Agriculture (YEFFA) Program completed a two-day Sales and Compliance Training hosted by Reliance Group in Dodoma. The participants represented five districts—Manyoni, Bahi, Kongwa, Morogoro, and Dodoma City—marking another step forward in building a skilled, self-reliant generation of agricultural entrepreneurs.

The training followed the launch of 105 tractors (50 2WD and 55 4WD) by Reliance Group on 30th September 2025, aimed at expanding access to affordable mechanization services for smallholder farmers. During the sessions, the youth were equipped with practical knowledge on product sales, compliance, and operational procedures. Nineteen (19) participants successfully signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) as informers, strengthening local sales and service networks within their communities.

In a further milestone, TAPBDS facilitated the establishment of a formal agency partnership between Agro Path Africa Ltd, a youth-owned enterprise, and Reliance Group, to enhance last-mile distribution and technical support.

This initiative reflects TAPBDS’s broader mission to create dignified employment opportunities for young people through mechanization-driven agribusiness, ensuring they are not only beneficiaries but also active contributors to Tanzania’s agricultural transformation.
