Green Challenge
Sept 2020- June 2021
The ILO, UNEP and Tanzania Recyclers Association (TARA) organized the Tanzania Green Business Expo (TGBE) and Green Business Competition in December 2019. TAPBDS was tasked with providing technical services to the four winners. This included training and capacity building based on ILO-SIYB Program, Business Plan development as well as financial and market linkages. One of the success stories include a company named Afri-EcoFeeds Afri-EcoFeeds (afriecofeeds.com)

Youth and Women Economic Empowerment (YWEE).
2018 – May 2021
A project under the United Nations-Kigoma Joint Program (UN-KJP). TAPBDS' roles included training youth and women producer groups on entrepreneurship and business plan development. Facilitating access to start-up & working capital with special focus on the 10% LGA loan facility. Ensure sustainability of the group’s income generating activities by establishing a Network of BDS Providers in Kigoma. At the end, 20 Business Plans developed $240,000 disbursed as a revolving grant to the 20 Producer Groups.
