On 08 August 2025 in Dodoma, TAPBDS, represented by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Joseph Migunda, joined the launch of the Partial Credit Guarantee (PCG) Project organized by the African Fertilizer Financing Mechanism (AFFM) in collaboration with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Africa Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP). The project aims to de-risk lending and expand working capital for actors in the fertilizer and input value chains, enabling smallholders, distributors, and MSMEs to access affordable financing and strengthen agricultural growth.
TAPBDS participated as a national business development service provider representing MSMEs in agribusiness, showcasing its commitment to improving access to finance and building enterprise capacity.
After the launch, Mr. Joseph Migunda toured the Agri-Financing Institutions Pavilion, engaging with banks and programs offering tailored products for smallholders and agri-SMEs. He also visited the Building a Better Tomorrow (BBT) booth, where a technical discussion on delivery models flagged operational gaps such as last-mile agent readiness, product fit, and after-sales or repayment support. As a key partner in access to finance and capacity building for smallholders and agri-SMEs, TAPBDS pledged to submit a proposal recommending improvements in these areas.
