As one of the stakeholders in building the renewable energy ecosystems in Tanzania, TAPBDS made significant contributions at this year’s Nanenane International Exhibitions in Dodoma. Through its role in the MOTT Foundation project, subcontracted by TAMFI, TAPBDS focused on promoting renewable energy adoption and financing, especially for last-mile communities.
In collaboration with Dayliff, the supplier company of solar technologies used for demonstration, hundreds of visitors from various communities came to the pavilion to learn about and witness solar-based technologies addressing the climate crisis in agriculture, livestock, businesses, and households. These technologies are designed to reduce costs and improve efficiency, ultimately enhancing productivity.
The team showcased how solar-powered water pumps and other innovations are transforming sectors across Tanzania. Working alongside renewable energy suppliers, TAMFI and its member financial institutions are committed to making solar technologies more accessible and affordable for last-mile communities. This initiative helps more people adopt renewable energy solutions.
TAPBDS experts are actively involved in advancing the effective and sustainable use of renewable energy. They raise awareness about the benefits of renewable energy and guide individuals to collaborate with reputable financial institutions to secure loans for these technologies.
With TAPBDS’s technical support, the project is forging a path toward a cleaner, greener future. It connects communities with financial resources and suppliers of renewable energy technologies, providing the technical support needed to make renewable energy a reality in Tanzania.
