Over 50 youth from Rukwa and Katavi regions received theoretical training on modern agricultural tools and machinery (Agricultural Mechanization) organized by TAPBDS to empower youth in the agricultural value chain through the YEFFA project of AGRA funded by MasterCard Foundation.
The training took place in December 2024 at Sumbawanga Municipal Council Hall in Katavi for youth towards getting a win-win agreements with suppliers of agricultural tools and machinery, enabling them to create self-employment opportunities, enhance agricultural efficiency, increase crop yields, and ultimately improve their livelihoods.
The training attracted youth involved in crop processors, artisans specializing in agricultural machinery, distributors and suppliers of tools and machinery, such as Agricom, Reliance, and King Agro. Also, agricultural experts from the Sumbawanga Municipal Council and representatives from the Rukwa Regional Commissioner’s Office participated in the event.
TAPBDS implements this project across multiple regions in Tanzania using empowering approaches such as training, financial linkages, and market connections, among other strategies. For those seeking transformative business growth through professional business development services, TAPBDS is the ideal partner to work with.
